Privacy

What this site does with your data.

Short version: very little. The readiness check runs in your browser, contact is by email, and the only thing stored on your device is your light-or-dark preference.

Last updated 11 October 2026. This notice covers cellhash.io, the marketing site. The CellHash product will have its own privacy notice and data-processing terms before launch.

Who is responsible

The controller for this site is CellHash. Company details will appear on the legal notice when the EU entity is formed. Contact: hello@cellhash.io.

The readiness check

The check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are held in the page while it is open and are not transmitted to us or to anyone else. If you choose "Email me this summary", your email program opens a pre-filled message addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you press send in your own email program, and what is sent is the text you can see in that message: your answers, your score, and the segment, volume and company fields if you filled them in.

If you send that email, we keep it to reply to you and to understand which plan fits. We keep it for as long as we are in contact, and we delete it on request.

Contact by email

Every contact link on this site opens your own email program. We receive what you send and use it to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

Stored on your device

If you use the theme toggle, the site stores a single value, light or dark, in your browser's local storage so the choice persists. Nothing else is stored, and this value never leaves your device. No cookies are set by this site.

Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details for that request. Google's privacy policy applies to that processing. We intend to self-host the fonts before launch; this notice will be updated when that is done.

Analytics

No analytics are running on this site at the time of this notice. If we add a privacy-preserving analytics service that does not use cookies or identify individuals, this section will say which one and what it records.

Hosting

The hosting provider processes connection data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and operation. The provider and the log retention period will be named here when the site goes live.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. Write to the address above. We will answer within one month.

Changes

We will update this notice when the site changes what it does. The date at the top tells you when.
